Re: Birth of a Fighter (Jigoro POV)

So, no feedback other than critiques of my inability to grasp the exchange rate with the Yen?

Ah hell, I'll take it. :P

Re: Birth of a Fighter (Jigoro POV)

The story is set in the late-fifties/early-sixties. I figured that was as good an assessment as any of monetary worth in Japan at the time. Where I'm from, the equivalent of $2.50 would have been a small fortune back then. And no, I'm not going to calculate inflationary trends in Japan over the last...

Birth of a Fighter (Jigoro POV)

I've been thinking about writing a Jigoro POV for a while, but this is the only way I could think of making it work. Am undecided on whether to keep it a one-shot or to try expanding it. Anyway, hope you enjoy. __________________________________________ Birth of a Fighter “Who the hell do you think ...

KSG = Katawa Shoujo General thread on /vg.

Most posters here no longer seem to/never did frequent 4chan anyway, so don't worry too much about it.

Re: Tea Time with Miki

Yeah, Miki POVs are always good. Just a small few observations. "I-I invited her to lunch with us," Hanako says. Hisao looks at me, smiles, and says "Hey," before looking back to Hanako and saying to me, "umm.. What's going on here?" I think this scene would read better...

Channel 4 - Meet the Superhumans

This is an ad currently being broadcast on the UK's Channel 4 for the Paralympics. I just thought I'd stick it up, since: 1. It's one-and-a-half minutes of awesome; 2. The music rules; 3. It's reminiscent of KS, in that none of these athletes are looking for sympathy (I strongly suspect most of the...

Re: My oc.

This struck me as something where you weren't interested in the setting, you weren't interested in describing the scene, you weren't interested in delving too deeply into the characters' motivations; you just wanted to introduce an OC and get it done with. The hallways were empty, I was just pacing ...

Re: How'd you find yourself here?

Like some of the others, I downloaded Act 1 a couple of years ago after reading the review on PlayThisThing . I loved it, and checked back in impatiently every couple of months to see how the game was progressing. At least, that was the plan. After checking the blog last May, I learned to my astonis...

Re: Touchdown Breakdown (Updated 7/20/2012)

My feelings on this instalment went in the time it took to read Hanako's note from:

"Okay, the writing's good but nothing is happening. Why this update?"

to:

"MUST READ MOAR. MOARRRR!!!!!!!!!"

Sir, you have me hooked. Can't wait for the next update. :D

Re: Anyone played pXt/The Answer?

Right, I've achieved 100% in both by now (I think). Short reviews below. The Answer You play Arthur Proxy, a bitter and somewhat schizophrenic individual driven to write an OELVN out of revenge at the current fare available. You meet Sophie Butthurtko (thanks, A22), who reluctantly agrees to help yo...

Anyone played pXt/The Answer?

So, I only just found out that 4LS released two other short VNs before KS (possibly as sort of KS trial runs, I 'unno). It's late and I'm tired, so rather than download them, I just thought I'd ask if anyone else has played them/would recommend them? There seem to be remarkably few references to the...
