Learned to have greater empathy and respect for the disabled.

Also that it really takes a lot for someone's life to be truly destroyed, even the crippled can live happy and fulfilled lives.

Yup, memrise is also pretty good for spoken languages.

A friend of mine suggested it to me for Japanese but I use it for French too.

Its just great.

Hopefully they'll flesh out their ASL courses more as time goes on. I think its a major project for their site.

Oh yeah, it really helps to be able to see the guy's expression.

I think its actually something thats relied on a bit in signing. Also mouthing sometimes comes into play for certain words.

I was wondering if anyone had started a sign language thread and I'm happy to see one here.
