Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Man, that's quite the story. I'm happy to hear things have been going better for you. I was around 14 when I first played KS too, and it changed me in a big way. I may not be able to relate to all of what you've been through, but that's something we and plenty of other people on here have in common....

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Hi Wanderingheartache. I imagine by now you've probably heard back from the doctor about whatever results you've been waiting for. From what you've said of your family history, the odds didn't sound too promising. I hope it was a better result than you were expecting. Either way, I'm rooting for you...

Re: The Sands of Time

It's always a treat to stop by the forums for the first time in a few months and find one of my favorite authors on here with something new. I don't know what you have planned but I'm enjoying it. I'm going to hazard a guess and say that the concept of returning to Yamaku and its characters years la...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

Walrusfella, I'm glad to hear that you're doing all right. I can't imagine how I'd react to such news, but it sounds as if you're handling it just as well as anyone really good. We may never have even talked before, but I have such deep emotional roots in this obscure community that I empathize with...

Re: Sisterhood: True Edition (Hanako Epilogue) (Completed)

The original was among my favorite fanfics when I read it who knows how many years ago, so finding this was a very pleasant surprise. I loved the whole thing. I doubt that I'll be able to keep all that happened in this one out of my headcanon when I inevitably replay KS in years to come. I'll imagin...

Re: Anyone feeling nostalgic?

I should do my part to try and keep this place alive too. Having nobody else to talk to about this game every now and then would be quite depressing.

But I'm optimistic. This game does seem to have a way of sticking to people :P

Re: KS Artbooks

I unfortunately wasn't in Japan for Comiket in a long time, so the few I have I snagged from various secondhand online stores - they sometimes show up on Mandarake and Melonbooks, but they're usually gone within days. Aside for having a friend in Japan or making the trip yourself, that's probably t...

KS Artbooks

https://twitter.com/ksjpproject/status/1027212996735426560?s=19 So, the artbooks are being sold in Japan only again. If Google Translate isn't letting me down, this may be one of the last times. I apologize if this kind of post isn't meant to be here, but I'm kind of desperate. To keep things brief,...

Re: Four Leaf Studios at Comiket 90

I care!

I won't rest until I get my hands on at least one KS artbook. Although, without any means of getting to Comiket, this isn't looking any more promising for me than previous artbooks..

Hopefully something will show up online somewhere, and I won't miss it this time.

Re: Katawa Shoujo at Comiket 88

I have a friend in the area who might be able to get this for me. I was hoping she would be able to pick up one of the artbooks if they were there in addition to a hard copy. But this.. is an interesting development. Don't get me wrong, I totally want this. But it's already awkward enough asking her...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

I do plan to check around the web to see if I can buy one, but I won't get my hopes up too much. And yeah, when I said it changed my life, I definitely meant for the better haha

Anyway, thanks for the response. I'll try not to let this get to me too much :)

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

This may be a bit trivial compared to many of the other stories posted here, but it's KS related and I want to get it off my chest, since I don't know anyone IRL who's played KS. I first played KS back in 2012, a few months after it came out. I spent pretty much the entire following week doing nothi...

Re: Iwanako: Mean Time to Breakdown {updated 2015-4-1}

I may have already commented something like this in one of the several month intervals between parts but I just want to say that I really like this and I'm happy to see it's still going strong.

Re: Random KS Discussion

Surely, there must be a way to get a physical copy (assuming this isn't all some cruel joke) without actually personally going to Japan. That KS art-book isn't available (As far as I know) and that was at some Anime convention in Japan in 2012. Besides who wouldn't want to visit Japan? :D I dunno, ...
