The free dissemination of KS makes an actual count impossible, and I think we stopped counting even our site downloads a long while ago. I'm a bit curious about that myself, so while I'm waiting to see if some fellow dev has harder data available, I think I can say that we have passed the millionth...

New Ren'Py with KS has been known to be broken for a while on Gentoo: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=459742 Their own damn fault for not shipping with the bundled Ren'Py by default. KS has been known to not work with any Ren'Py other than 6.10.2, and porting it to newer versions is a painf...
