Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Very good article on how willpower is only a small part of fitness.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

My status is as follows: -Currently 180lbs. Gained a bit over the winter, but I still need to do my belt up tight and I have so much excess belt that it needs to be looped around itself or it hangs loose! Nice. -I go for long bike rides again every weekend, now that the weather is warm. I think I hi...

Re: Random KS Discussion

I initially dreaded his arrival too. The anime style Giant Spiral Glasses make him even more annoying.

Shaman Eyes and you realize he's a real guy underneath all the oddness, and not just comic relief.

Exactly what I was thinking. "At least they're alive" to continue that kind of existence?

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I'm going to the gym three times a week. I've just started a new routine, which is: 10 minutes warmup (elliptical) to get my heart rate up. the circuit of machines which work everything, start with the back and legs and then going via the chest to the arms and finally abs. free weights, with a bit o...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

I know but I will and will always try my best for her and me. No matter what. Thank you all once again its good to find compassionate people on the internet for once. Keep a sense of perspective here, the 'her' and 'me' are separate things. Look after both of them, and be prepared for the fact that...

Re: Terminology debate - "mute" versus "voice-off"

The simple fact that you got automatically defensive about being accused of lying suggests that you would be lying if you did say something like that. I'm defensive because you suggested I'm making this up, as something that has been a pretty central part of my life for years. I'm not prepared to l...

This is extremely true. Being that person is one of the hardest things you'll ever do, and you might not even be or feel appreciated for all the effort and pain you'll experience.

Re: Terminology debate - "mute" versus "voice-off"

Again with the putting words in people's mouths. No, I want to know if you actually know a real live person who is offended by being called "mute" (adjective) since no one else here does. Anecdotal evidence isn't an accurate term, because this isn't a small sample we're talking about. The...

Re: Terminology debate - "mute" versus "voice-off"

The links you provide only claim that the term 'deaf-mute' is offensive, not 'mute'. I've said this several times before, as have others, and you seem to be ignoring that point for some reason... Hang on... so all this time you guys have been saying it's all about the context and intention behind t...

Re: Random KS Discussion

She loves running so much she probably tries to avoid using one so much that the expense and effort of getting a cool racing one wouldn't be worth the small amount of time she'd use it. The tricycle racing designs make me wonder about negotiating tight indoor spaces and ramps. (do we even know if th...
