Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Ha I should stop being zombie status on these forums again lol..... Anyway just wanted to post a reminder for those in the US to be cautious with the incoming heat waves and to make sure they're properly hydrated and to take breaks if needed. I know I have. Anyway happy training everyone. :) ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

W4 D1 was way harder than i had anticipated. I was completely unable to do either of the 5 minute jogs. For both of them I had to stop at the 3 1/2 or 4 minute point to walk. If by day 3 I still cannot do it I may have to repeat this week. In lighter news though, my new running shoes made the runni...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I want my ankles to stop hurting. They probably would've healed a week ago if I hadn't tried to ignore it. :L Whoa whoa whoa. Never ignore an injury, no matter how small. As soon as something doesn't feel right you should be cautious and not push yourself. After all you can cause more bad than good...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Question ..... does it have to be running ?? I walk 7k each day to and from work for almost 3 years now ( lost about 20 pounds and i feel great ) As long as you get your heart rate BPM level up to the recommended rate you're fine. As long as it puts a bit of a strain on your heart to pump faster (l...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I had to take a two-day rest because of lack of opportunity. Saturday was raining like there was no tomorrow here, and yesterday I spent the whole day at a birthday-paintball-pizza-eating thing. I really want to get back to running now! Also... What is the minimum age for upper-body muscl...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Feels good to be up and working out again. Been sick for a week with a fever so I decided to take the week off and regain my strength.

However a month of no strength training makes my muscles sores and want to kill me. xD

Oh well, happy training everyone.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Do people reckon it's OK to leave longer breaks between sets though, and concentrate on increasing the number I can do, even if it means it takes per day than it should? Or is this kinda defying the point of it, and I really should be working to get my times down? You should take as long as you nee...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Haha, cool story. I actually came here cause something similar just happened to me. I was at a garage sale down the street from my house, and I'd never met the lady who was having it, but she was like "Hey I've seen you running lately, you've done pretty well for yourself." and we talked ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo HD rerelease!

Why?? Though Rika Katayama in 2011's april fools joke REALLY SOUNDS FREAKING AWESOME http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-ypHT3yO2pFM/TZOi30TNYjI/AAAAAAAAAYI/zYNmMfH0XW0/s320/rikascreenie.png A second year student at Yamaku, Rika has heart condition not completely unlike Hisao's, called hypoplastic left heart...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Eh, I don't workout very formally or reliably. Evenings when I remember, just before bed I'll do pressups with my legs raised, pullups, situps, squats or dips or the kind of dips where you hold onto two parrallel bars and raise and lower yourself. I tend to do them until my muscles start aching, an...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

My trouble is that I have reasonable strength, but low stamina. I'm now 24hrs on from when I was about collapsed halfway through W1D1, and my arms don't feel sore whatsoever. I'm really tempted to have another go at one step back, see how I can do. Dang. My arms felt fine, so I tried another go. In...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Glad to see this is still alive after being on "Hiatus" for about a week or so. (Being on break before my spring classes is fun, but gets no workouts done. xD) Welcome all new comers. Remember anyone from here is welcome to join us on Fitocracy, which more-a-less is a Facebook for those wh...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

And once there was this really strange moment while running on my last breath, I noticed the clouds dispersed while I was running and I saw the stars for the first time, I tried to remember if there was something about stars in KS, some scene with Shizune maybe? (I'm not thinking of KS all the time...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

^ Thanks. I finished my first run, it was kinda hard, but it also feels like its a good start. Next run is gonna be on Tuesday, kinda looking forward to it. :) That's the right attitude. Stick with it and it'll become a habit some day. Remember to take it easy though since you're just starting and ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Bike isn't light on the knees at all, as I have found out. Go to the doctor to be sure, let it heal until it is completely healed, then start lightly again, or the injury comes back with a vengeance. Oh yes, and consider different shoes that force you to run correctly. Something like Nike Free. Wel...
