That'll be the day. Rance VI is likely to be translated by the end of fall, so you can look forward to that for now.

Re: Recommend a VN

So, Period just got released and Never 7 will be released soon.

Anyone interested? I'll probably play both next week when I'm less busy.

Re: Recommend a VN

Notable good animes made by J.C Staff: • Shakugan no Shana • Zero no Tsukaima • Hidan no Aria • Kaicho wa Maid-sama • Hayate no Gotoku • Toradora • To aru Majutsu no Index JC Staff is kind of hit or miss, and even if they do hit, they still rush the adaptation and skip details. Granted, that's nece...

Re: Recommend a VN

I don't think the art is that bad, considering it is from the 90s. :) I've seen better art from eroge made in 1989 and one from 1995 that's only a tier below modern eroge art. :P The reason why Kanon's art is bad is more because of art style than anything else, but the artist has become significant...

Re: Recommend a VN

I'm pretty sure Clannad is only that long if you don't skip the text you already read.

Personally speaking, I think Clannad too damn long for it's own good, but it really is a good visual novel. I personally liked Little Busters better.

Re: Raita comments on Katawa Shoujo on his homepage

Somehow, I'm kinda relieved that didn't happen. Maybe I'm too cynical, but I can't help but feel that if that had been the case KS probably would have turned out to be everything its jump-to-conclusions-detractors said it was going to be. Yeah probably. Certain things on that page certainly imply t...

Re: Recommend a VN

Are you joking? Oh Christ, now I feel terrible, because when I heard about the translation being finished, I went ahead and told a friend of mine about it since he's a huge fan of the anime. I'm pretty sure he bought the collector's edition, too... oh well. It's not all bad. Since he bought the col...

Re: Recommend a VN

What is Quartett! anyway? I have heard it get recommend quite a lot and that it's about music, but I don't really know anything else about it. Is it a comedy or something? The VNDB tags don't really help on this one, except for "Slice of Life Realism". It's Slice of Life realism. Jokes aside, it st...

Re: Recommend a VN

1v1 fighting game This is out of our control and happens automatically, though, so I don't think it can exactly be considered a minigame. Oh, and also, the minigames end with the common route. The heroine routes, and Refrain, aka the "true" route, have no minigames, and take up a huge portion of th...

Re: Recommend a VN

1. Monster Girl Quest 1 This is one of those RPG-eroge visual novels. Short summary: every monster you encounter attempts to rape you for your semen. Treat it as a joke if you may, but the storyline is probably one of the most advanced and engrossing ones in ANY eroge / VN. That sounds surprisingly...

Re: Recommend a VN

Amaterasu blog has a warning that it drops you off at a "slightly evil" place in the story, btw. One reason why I won't be touching this until a full patch comes out, unlike in the case of Majikoi. That's reasonable. Amaterasu is fast, so when they say that they'll have a VN done by October, it'll ...

Re: Recommend a VN

I don't agree with that. On the first page I see two of the Phoenix Wright games, Hoshizora no Memoria and True Remembrance, none of which are designed to make the player cry. True Remembrance and Hoshizora are designed to make you feel emotions and by extension, cry. The translation of a Nakige is...
