Re: Imagining voices for VN characters

Well, I must say Katawa Seiyu had very good voice actors and actresses, as they all seemed to hit the characters spot on (BUT WHY IS LILLY AMERICAN OMG) Except... Hanako. Fukken Hanako. I always imagines her voice to be moderate; shy and quivery and in a mid-scale. And here, she's so incredibly high...

The only hint I'll give to the Hanran's existance and power at the moment is: think of Ukraine.

Re: Seven Hours (UPDATED: 8/27)

Exactly. Japan has 270.000 Soldiers - plus about 50.000 US soldiers stationed there. Hokkaido - where your rebels are apparently based just has five odd million inhabitants . No matter how much outside funding or supplies they get, this is ridiculous. The scenes you describe would be a full-fledged...

Re: Seven Hours (UPDATED: 8/27)

No, the writing is more or less okay, but you don't seriously suggest that some paramilitary group waging war against the Japanese military and winning is even remotely plausible - let alone in the timeframe you suggest - do you? It even more ridiculous than the premise of Homefront - and that's se...

I still remembered with joy the smug look on Hisao's face when he convinced me to live here with him, despite my protests Any reason WHY she protested? "It might turn into a warzone soon" was probably not on top of her mind... Only when we closed the door for the last time did I remember ...

Re: Types of emotional reactions to KS

I forget where I heard it, but it was said that "Painful History" is Hanako's theme song, but "Raindrops And Puddles" is her happy-song. Something like that. Painful History is indeed Hanako's theme, but I don't recall ever seeing 'Raindrops and Puddles' being referred to as her...

Re: Seven Hours (UPDATED: 8/27)

Brace yourselves... Hour Two Riot Hisao sighed with the strain of pulling the backpack onto his shoulders; it was heavy due to being filled with all those things we simply couldn't leave behind: photographs, memorablia, etcetera. Finally, we were ready to depart the apartment. We had been packing ev...
