Re: Hisao and Kenji and the Last Samurai! (Updated 10/10)

By the Emperor, you're back! Or I'm back....I don't know, I've been lurking here forever.

Looks promising as always, though I was hoping the next chapter would be named "Only War" or "Pimps in Space Rogue Trader."

Part II: “We’re gonna need the cheapest bottle of vodka you have, some rags, lighters, some empty beer bottles, the fireplace poker, some kitchen knives, anything sharp and silver—letter opener, maybe? And… that’s all I can think of.” Whenever I hear of Molotov cocktails, I always think of this old...

Well, I can see why Hisao lost (or close enough); he kept referring to his meltas by their proper name and used them against infantry. That's the 40k equivalent of breaking a mirror under a ladder in front of black cat.

Re: The Manila Tales –A Summer-ish Series (Updated 7/03)

Which war are you taking about? If WWII, I think all of Imperial Japan's radar's were land and ship-based. That might be the Hearts of Iron talking, though. "Navigator" would work, though; they used sextants and everything. Indeed, 'tis WWII. As for radar, I figure land based. Since we pr...

Re: The Manila Tales –A Summer-ish Series (Updated 7/03)

“Sorry, we seem to have gone off tangent a bit. As I was saying before I so rudely interrupted myself, I’d stargaze with my grandfather, and after he died, I kept at it. He never used a telescope, but I’ve found them to be rather handy,” Mr. Nakai glanced at the now assembled device, lost in some t...

Insert preferred road trip music of your choice here. I’m gonna go get noodles. And maybe some duck. Or a pizza…. Or maybe duck pizza? I've had duck tacos at this place in Bismarck. Pretty good, if a bit pricey. Well, they put chicken on a pizza, so sure, why not? Steak's good, too. Especially if y...

Re: Hisao and Kenji: Masterful One Shots! Lent Update

Did I miss the reason Lilly is on withdrawal or did you not provide any? Hmm, I've heard of people renouncing meat or sweets during fasting time, but caffeine is a novel idea... Can you even get (physically) addicted to caffeine in tea? I didn't think it contains enough of the stuff. I figure yes i...

Awesome addition! Short and sweet...sorta. Nice to know you're still working on H&K. Twas a good take on Kenji's...eccentrics.

How's your main project coming along? I don't know how much you want to reveal about it yet.

Re: Concept: KS X Ring of Red

I'm honestly not expecting it to be good, it's just an experiment. I need the practice. Mainly, since there is an agreement for what the KS characters should act like, I can get feedback about them staying in character. Also, having established characters interact with OCs might help flesh them out ...

Concept: KS X Ring of Red

I can't believe I'm actually doing this.... Alright people, I just want to get a good read on the forums before deciding to post this here or elsewhere. I offer you this: Militia: A KS/ Ring of Red story, a side story to my main Ring of Red fic I'm going to be working on, and mostly an experi...

There is nothing in this sentence I don't like.

I just bought some more of the Korean ones; they're called "Pepero." Tasty little bastards.

I don’t know what it is about those blasted cookie sticks, but thank God for the international food isle. Have you had the Korean ones or the "Men's" Pocky? I've had ones with almonds on them. I'm honestly not sure. They're in a red box in the international food aisle. Almond? Hmm, wonder...
