Re: Umber's Short Stories [04/05: The Death of Rin Tezuka]

I have to disagree. To me, it feels far too eloquent and well thought out for Rin. it feels more like the way Rin wishes she could express herself instead of her more chaotic rambling style. I was honestly going for something less coherent and not obviously organized, but I think it's been too long...

Re: Naomi Inoue and the Meaning of Mango Shakes

The Death of Rin Tezuka When I died, it was very painless. I hardly noticed. At some point in time, I realized that me being dead was suddenly just a fact of life and, oh, look, I died. For the next few seconds after that, I had to come to terms with the fact. When I finally accepted my death, I’d ...

Glad you do! Comments keep me going. Trying more and more new stuff with each drawing, although the self-taught route sure is taking a while.

Re: Occasional Art Thread

All hail our lord and savior, Mutou. Why does he only have a torso?
a) it's just a sketch and b) don't ask Mutou stupid questions like that.

Happy arbitrary Mutou holiday day

Re: I post things here occassionally.

I actually find something amazing about the way you drew her. Like how the hair being pulled back is kinda perforated and the strands sticking out of her ponytail are defined separately. Ear seems a little far off to the side but something about your lines has a certain charm to them. Those are my t...

CLOTHES And a quick low-quality sketch of Emi running in the morning. Ignore the fact her arms and legs aren't positioned correctly and you'll notice it's still a bad picture. Nevermind. Postimg has obliterated that image out of existence. Comments, critique, food, shelter, social support, eyeglass ...

Re: Occasional Art Thread

Some time ago Munch said he eagerly awaited what you had up your sleeve(s). I wonder what else there might be, now! :) Calculus textbooks, a road bike and a fatal amount of apathy. Also pasta and an infinite desire for hugs (and I have a stapler in my back pocket). Munch is an adorable thing. I hop...

I can't sleep. Have a Shizune. Separating posts so I can organize the links on the first page. I love Autodesk Sketchbook.

Comments and critiques are welcome, please enjoy as always. Sorry if the picture is small, had to be resized to fit on the page.

Re: Occasional Art Thread

I drew a thing for the first time in a long time (mostly because I lost the power cord for my tablet). It kind of looks like a watercolor/stencil mix, and it has Rin in it. That was an accident though. Comments and critique are welcome. Hope you guys enjoy. http://s33.postimg.org/wrnl3dwof/Rin_cropp...

Re: Naomi Inoue and the Meaning of Mango Shakes

Despite how rambling it seemed and how nothing actually happened, it was surprisingly coherent and enjoyable. It feels like it should have a soft mellow tune playing through it as you read. Shame none of our various music composers have never made a Naomi and/or Natsume theme. I think that's what I...

Re: Naomi Inoue and the Meaning of Mango Shakes

Ah... Umber's... unique writing style. It has me reread some sentences multiple times only to realize that yes, they are grammatically correct, though the meaning might be a bit esoterical sometimes. Have you considered writing some Rin? Would you say my style is DISARMING I'm so sorry Rin would be...

Umber's Short Stories [04/05: The Death of Rin Tezuka]

[04/05] Holy cow, it's been nearly a year. Well, I figure I might as well make this a place for whatever pops up. Naomi Inoue and the Meaning of Mango Shakes: p1 The Death of Rin Tezuka ** Naomi Inoue and the Meaning of Mango Shakes Part One: Sweet, orange, mellow, and crisp. Light and playful. Chil...
