Re: Music that makes you think of KS
When I think of Rin, I think of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds . I'm not quite sure why, but it seems to fit... at least in my head.... Appropriate, considering that song was based on a drawing. Specifically, one John Lennon's son did. And yeah, it does fit. (Actually, just about any song about an o...

Re: Misha's hair ??
I have to go with brunette. Simply because I have a thing for brunettes, and a thing for long hair. I will admit, though, that the drills do fit her personality quite well. Or rather, the personality she affects. The short pink looks a little too boyish to me, although the hairclip helps to ameliora...

Re: A Familiar Face (Hanako Neutral End Fan Fiction)
“It was just a joke,” I say in my defense. Lilly immediately lightens up. “So was I, Hisao,” she says while giggling, “I’m glad you remembered something else.” At this, she smiles a little more. When we have both settled down, we get to eating breakfast. His line and her response don't jibe. I assu...

Re: When Hisao was Rin
So, would this fic be Oddball at his Oddballest? Anyway... I'll say this for ya, Oddball, you know how to come up with a title that catches one's attention. (I was half expecting a body-swapping story or something. Which wouldn't even be the weirdest thing on this forum.) I love how they both seem t...

Re: Surprise Visitor
Derp. I'm surprised Hanako of all people would forget the first rule of masturbation, LOCK THE FUCKING DOOR! And next time Hisao swings by Hanako's room, the door has more locks on it than Kenji's. Okay, this is a prime example of why digging several pages down is a good idea. (Anyone else get the ...

Re: Music that makes you think of KS
Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne for Kenji. Smoke Gets In Your Eyes by the Platters for Hanako and Lilly. (I regret nothing.) Wake Up Little Susie by the Everly Brothers for Suzu. (I actually ended up writing a short Suzu fic based on this one.) On a more serious note, for some reason I think Seven Yea...

Re: Do you have any disabled friends?
A few of the people I play TTRPGs with have some level of disability. Three of them walk with canes, one of whom also has diabetes, which I believe his need of a cane is related to in some way. (The other two are simply not as young as they used to be.) Another has cystic fibrosis. (He's also a furr...

Re: Which girl do you think will age the best?
I have to go with Emi, like most here. Even if she overdoes it with the exercising, she's still got good genes, as one look at Meiko will attest. (As if anyone could restrict themselves to one look at Meiko.) I can see Lilly aging gracefully, due to probably having the least stress in her life overa...

On the other hand, if Kenji were given 20/20 eyesight, he might take the sniper rifle you just know he has up to the nearest clock tower and start shooting every female he sees, now that he can aim properly. (Hideaki would likely also be a casualty.)

Re: KS forum in a nutshell?
"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." (Not really, but I never pass up the chance to quote Star Wars.) Actually, my impression is that of a pretty welcoming community with more than its fair share of weirdos, some of whom are funnier than others. Overall, a nutsh...

Re: If Hanako's scars looked like this...
When I play KS, I usually find myself focusing on the unscarred side of Hanako's face, and I'm not completely sure why. Maybe because her left eye is more visible due to the hair covering her scars; people do tend to focus on the eyes when looking at a human face, after all. Or maybe I'm being consi...

Re: Hanako in a maid's uniform: Well, there went any chance of me being able to concentrate on anything for awhile... On the original topic (i.e. Hanako's nerdiness or lack thereof), I've long thought she'd take to tabletop RPGs, one of the most stereotypical nerd activities, like a duck to w...

Re: Poker Night(Short Story)
After all, poker is all about the cards you’re dealt which makes it a game of luck, right?. [misha]Wahaha~![/misha] Somebody's about to get fleeced... Anyway, I like this idea, and I'll be interested to see who all gets roped into this. Hisao seems a bit more dense than usual, and that's saying qui...

Re: What does Iwanako look like?
I tend to think that she'd bear some resemblance to Hanako, sans scars of course. Although that may just be because both have long dark hair, and Iwanako does come off as somewhat shy.

Re: Taking advantage of Lilly's blindness
I like the idea in one of the comments on [shimmie=2536]this image[/shimmie] on the Shimmie. Put chalk on her cane, watch her make wavy chalk lines all over the place. (Actually might end up being pretty visually interesting, come to think of it...)
