Jesus...
My NSFW stuff isn't even located on my computer, but on an external drive. Which, isn't normally connected to my computer. So, I can only assume people don't know it's located there.
Katawa Shoujo's the only thing that's "NSFW" that's not located there.

Anyways. At the underaged person. I was about 19 when I found out about Katawa Shoujo. I wouldn't have touched it if I was less than 18.
Also, I have my own computer, as well. Even though it's in a public area in my house, I have it facing a wall, as I get paranoid about people looking over my shoulder. I would commonly get annoying by my nephew watching me play Age of Empires 2, when my computer was a desktop (Currently, it's a laptop I own that's wireless adapter has been fried). So, it normally has nothing to do with 18+ material.
So, no. My parents have no clue what Katawa Shoujo is. Though, I did have a Lilly and Hanako picture as my iPod's two backgrounds. Mum asked about it. Said it was a game (Or, I said it was a Visual Novel. Which I explained is an interactive book). Ended that topic, pretty much.

I nearly panicked, once. When I was playing League of Legends with my best friend in real life. I invited another player (That I got to try out Katawa Shoujo), and he said he loved Lilly's Route. Best friend asked, "Lilly's Route?" I told the friend irl to not mind it, then I PM'd the guy I invited to chill on the subject.

My mentality. Even though I've watched porn when I was like... 13. :/

As for the friend. I'd have rather not explain it to him, even though my friend has no problem with sexuality in games (His favorite games are the Mass Effect series), and his sister was in the next room. You also have the fact that I'm attracted to his sister, so explaining such a thing to him with her near by would... probably cause problems.
Both of them like anime, the sister especially. But, hentai is probably a different factor.

If KS is hentai, Titanic is a porno. And Pulp Fiction is a slasher flick, 'cause someone gets stabbed at one point. :P

*shrug*
It has NSFW material. Also, the sister wasn't 18, at the time.

No. They must never know.

One of my bosses saw me playing Fate/Stay Night during a lull in work. Dear God I hope he never asks questions, because who cares if it has a beautiful story with important lessons? The twenty minutes of sex scenes makes it a porno.

Boobs are illegal because they are terribly inappropriate even though every female has them and they are a totally normal part of the human body. Clearly anything with them in it is smut, even though live action movies tend to abuse camera shots with them in it all the freaking time. That's okay though, because the nipple tip part isn't showing. God forbid the nipple tip part shows, society would fall apart because nobody has ever seen nipples.

Janet Jackson, meet Justin Timberlake.

Unless you work on the show in some capacity, even Dora The Explorer is NSFW.

I've honestly never understood the whole "Not Safe For Work" thing because if they caught me looking at ANYTHING on the internet while I'm supposed to be working, I'd get in trouble.

Well, you've gotta be extra secretive with your loli porn...

Although, when my girlfriend saw me playing it, she asked me what it was, I responded with my usual "Cripple simulator 2007". Now, I think she went and did some research or something over a couple days, because 4-5 days later she text me with a simple "Hanako sucks, wheres my Emi at."

And that my friends is how I introduced my girlfriend to Visual Novels.
I'm gonna try to get my friends in the Anime Club to try it when school starts back up. Oh and Hanako is best girl, Emi fucking sucks compared to her (she's still awesome), just sayin'.

It's true that if someone is going to accept something like this, being up front from the beginning is the best way to go. However, that assumes that they're capable of such acceptance in the first place.

As for me, I live a couple thousand miles from most of my family, so this is not a concern. I doubt my father would care much if I told him, though.
He's totally cool with it now, however I'm sure it's whatever tabs in the forums I had open and not KS itself.

This. My father has outright told me that hentai is disgusting and anime is too weird, not knowing that I'm into both. Well, he knows about anime, but he doesn't know how much I like it, or think I'd go into hentai territory. Whenever he brings up how "bizarre" and "messed up" it is, I just sort of nod and agree.

Coffee, you're a lucky guy. Metal, I know the feeling... my parents use my laptop sometimes and I always get ultra paranoid about it.
Your into hentai? Strange? Why not settle for actual porn, with not drawn stuff? I mean I'm totally cool with everyone's preferences...but wouldn't it just be easier to watch real porn?
