Do we have anyone that's actually waiting for this, or is this just a request out of principle? I'm more motivated to do things when actual, rather than theoretical, people will benefit.
I know someone who uses a screen reader and is interested in playing Katawa Shoujo. Was there ever any progress made on this?

AFAIK, no.

There's not much to add to that, considering the minuscule amount of time I've spent on these forums and the little knowledge I have on the work that's been put into Katawa Shoujo. Hopefully someone will be able to verify, but to be honest, it probably only made as much progress as the DS port.

The best I've seen is the fandub, although if I could understand the software required I'd do it myself.

So I hacked together an accessible version, but I can't post it because of the no derivative works thing.

Turn it into a script that modifies an existing installation in-place, without including any assets from the game itself.
