I might just do something similar...

@Umber: How the bloody hell does one stop being a Rin-kin? The idea is unfathomable.

@Oddball: Quite the interesting tale. I'll be waiting to read more from you.

On a side note, unless you want to make a really shitty cake, you don't put all the ingredients together at once. You add them one at a time in order, making sure that they are incorporated properly. So Rin is right for once.

Not if it's a packet mix. But Rin is till right about the icing and the candles.

I'd like to add that adding the blowing of the candles while lighting said candles does absolutely nothing.

I guess in order to make any cosplay canon, all future Hisaos must don itchy sweatervests.

No, Oddball at his Oddballsiest. :P
I wouldn't have picked this as the most "me". Kinda interesting that other people do.

I don't think they actually do. They were just looking for a Rinny quote for a fanfiction with Rin.
That or they haven't read your other stories.

Oh, definitely the former. Oddball at his Oddballsiest would be Shower Scenes.

Necro all the threads!

Don't really see you online much, Oddball, but if you're still here then this has to be some of the best Rin characterisation I've seen, and made me chuckle.
You rock.

I'm still around. I don't post as much because I have some other projects going on, but I check the forums a couple times a day at least.

That was thoroughly enjoyable, and as I am bad at putting things into words, that is all.

Necro-ing it was good idea, otherwise I would not ever read it.

Thanks so much for this, not only for writing RIn, which is pretty damn hard to do well, but for making me laugh, I don't often.
I feel the sudden urge to go replay her route for the 17th time, wishing this was canon the whole time, thanks again.

Replying, since the thread was linked to in the Book Club thread. Thought it deserved a bump.

Super enjoyable short piece. Really nailed Rin's dialogue and even added some new dimensions to her, like an understanding of how others perceive her, mocking Hisao, and what they could look like as a day-to-day functional couple, which, I feel, is something a lot of people trip up on. Very fun to read and have play out in my head.
