I like where this is going.
One nitpick: Japan didn't fight in the Vietnam War.
Also, your tenses are all over the place, which makes the story a bit hard to follow. Otherwise a nice read.

Re: Forgetful [Updated: Remembrance]
Personally, I don't really see Artemis being a girl's name, but I guess I'd have to meet a girl with that name to make sense of it or something. Well, the name is not really common, but it was originally the name of the greek goddess of the hunt. a quick internet search turned up three instances of...

Re: A Not Very Serious Hebrew Translation
The Solar Plexus is a cluster of nerves roughly in front of the diaphraghm. It's mostly famous for hurting like hell when being hit. When hit from behind there's the spine protecting it.

3. "Solar Plexus" I have translated just as "lower back". Translating medical terms to Hebrew is difficult. You should find some body part that is actually on the front side, e.g stomach or sternum. Getting hit in the back would not affect HIsao that badly. 4. "Whatever Emi...

8. Instead of "No strings attached", Shizune offers to play Risk with "No tricks, this time." Not quite. "No strings attached" means something like "We're not playing FOR anything" or "just for fun". I don't know if you have something like that in H...

Re: A Not Very Serious Hebrew Translation
Translating names is one of the great sins of translations. The story takes place in Japan and there's no reason for all the people there having american names. There are very few justifications for translating a name. The only example I can think of right now is Tina/Terra in FF VI. The name Tina w...

9. Problem: in Hebrew, every word has a specific gender. So there isn't a word like "nurse". It's either "male nurse" or "female nurse". That's a problem because if everybody refers to him as female, well, that's just weird because they know he isn't, but if everybody ...

Re: A Not Very Serious Hebrew Translation
You know most translations will have the similar problems - not the same problems but similar ones. English is a language with a lots and lots of figures of speech half of which will be hard to translate to any given language. Also the vast english vocabulary means that any translation will have to ...

But then i realize that Lilly and Hisao are together in this story. Huh? Did I miss something? What gave you that impression? As the two turn to leave, I notice Lilly standing in the door way facing them as they head towards the class room. She must not have noticed me still standing there, since L...

He did? Oh you mean that... He saw her sleeping, fell asleep himself and when he woke up again, she was gone. Not very conclusive. Actually, other people than Kiyoshi react to Rui (e.g. Mutou), so it's improbable she is a hallucination. Also: “What about Rui?” “What about her? She's still visiting h...
