Re: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Oneshot thread)
Thank you very much for the story! It certainly was not what I expected, but I liked it a lot. You know, one of the hardest things about writing for me is to find something to write about - a prompt if you will. So when it came to coming up with one for this year's SS, just for fun I asked ChatGPT t...

In that case, you, too can feel free to add the German translation to your version.

Naughty or Nice That was a lovely bit of lighthearted fun, Mirage! I love when Hisao gets a friend group rather than a love interest, especially one with familiar faces. Is Leon your name for GreyHair McNoName and is he a foreign exchange student? It's a bit of a reference to one of my older ...

Re: Secret Santa 2023 - Story collection
And here is my entry for this year. Glad I managed before Christmas. Was a bit hectic this year. As always prompt and author’s notes will be at the end for spoiler reasons. Naughty or Nice The halls of the main building are practically empty as I hurry through the corridors, trying not to run. I alm...

Well, that escalated quickly - and just when I was wondering what you would fill year three with... And then, thankfully, it de-escalated just as quickly. :-) That said, I personally can't imagine travelling to another continent just to take a test that I don't even need to take, just "for the ...

Re: The Blank Slate - (Updated 12-16) Class Reunion
Back in the day many people argued that Rin was eventually headed for suicide.
Personally I could never see it...
This, I could see.

In some early drafts of the game, Niji was the name of Lilly's seeing-eye-dog, who was later cut.

Glaring omission there: "...and Silentcook is benevolently watching over the forums to this very day." So, now I know that Cybertext exists (and vaguely what is is). Still not quite sure about "ergodic".^ ° Still, it was interesting to have all the info about the very earliest st...

Re: Yamaku: The Next Generation (Updated: 12/12/2023)
I mean, I don't think there are many people who would avoid the chapters/story because of the warning, but if you want to use them you could always put those scenes in separate posts instead of in the middle of one giant one. Those would still be longer than most complete chapters in other stories. ...

Re: Yamaku: The Next Generation (Updated: 12/7/2023)
I think that noodle-type pastas can't be dumplings though, since they are not 'dumps' but drawn out into filaments. Hence I would exclude pasta that is made into long thin strips. :) That definition would also exclude most kinds of Spätzle, as they are either pressed or planed. And I finally caught...

Good start to the Secret Santa Season. It was a bit hard to figure out the perspective changes sometimes, especially the first time it happened without warning, but you did write them distinct from each other. Now I have to get my a** into gear and finish my story as well. It's probably going to be ...

That was a cute little story. Tenses are a bit wonky, though: It's mostly present tense, but some sentences - especially in the beginning are past tense. Seems as if you weren't certain which to use in the beginning and only decided halfway through. Personally I think third person stories like this ...

Hmm... I like how these discussion often lead to me learning something new... My ex-GF was from Jordan, and we regularly had couscous. By now it's quite common here in Germany actually, but the kind we have here it is definitely not pasta (i.e. it is not made from any kind of dough). I was not aware...

Re: Yamaku: The Next Generation (Updated: 12/7/2023)
Okay, this story is REALLY long, so I guess I'll just unload the comments that accrued for Year 1. It's mainly just thoughts that I had while reading: I hope you like it as much as me and your dad your dad and I did. I go sit down next to her. I grab her hand, but she doesn't respond in any way. Her...
