Re: Real Life KS-type Relationships
My mom worked as a caretaker for a paraplegic lawyer and rancher for a while. That's right RANCHER. Granted, he mainly directed his ranchhands to do the physical labor, but yeah he was a cool guy. He and his wife remained married even after the accident that paralyzed him, and it always looked like...

Emi - To live for the present is a bearable thing, and perhaps fun. Hanako - To live in the past is foolishness. All you will do is hurt those around you. Lilly - To live solely for another might pay off, but you will die many times to do so. Rin - To try and completely understand someone else is fo...

Miki! Evolution has geared me towards dark complexions and sporty bods. I really wish that the devs had given her more personality then "teehee I'm a tomboy!" I would have written her as in between Rin and Emi - the determination and presence-of-mind of an athlete combined with a kind of c...

When you start heavily researching different disabilities and find wikipedia unsatisfactory. It lists all of this broad medical information and political groups but has nothing on how conditions affect sensations and day-to-day life. I tell myself that I'm doing this research for a fan project, but ...

I honestly just want want to write my own little epilogue to the game and then just uninstall it and move on with my life. Knowing me, though, I'll probably keep the installer on an external drive like an eHoarder and stumble across it years from now and think "man, all those feels."

I can't do GIMP on this computer, but I'll try to replicate the game's prose... I find the unused classroom pretty quickly, but I find Rin there instead of Emi. She's lying on the floor surrounded by what look like shredded magazines At her feet is a canvas with some kind of goopy substance on it. S...

Re: Giving the Characters Alternative Disabilities
I just realized that armless Shizune would have a hell of a time with glasses. A school performance of Phantom of the Opera would be an interesting late-game event. The canon first act felt really strong because of the swirl of activity generated by the festival. Adding another similarly branch-cros...

I first found KS when Play This Thing covered the demo way back when. Most normal games featuring grumbling space marines just don't do it for me anymore, so my tastes were getting weirder and weirder I played through the, got Emi and Rin's endings, and figured 'okay, I've played a visual novel at l...

Hisao wouldn't need to use feminine shampoo if he didn't keep waking up in the girls' dorms.
