Re: If you were Hisao...

If I were Hisao? I'd probably become friends or at least acquaintances with all of them, and not really develop any romantic feelings. Actually the person I'd most likely to get a crush on is probably Yuuko. Or maybe even Akira, come to think. Obviously nothing would come of either of those, though....

Re: Discussion - Emi Route (*Spoilers* Warning)

Only two routes have a neutral ending. Neither of them are Emi's. Which would mean there are only... 13 endings. You're probably confused because there are 16 acts – Act 1, and then each girl gets 3 acts of her own. Oh, by the way, the slut-shaming in this thread is super embarrassing. So Emi and Hi...

Re: Fundamental design flaw

The flaw in that case would lie with the reader, not the design. I had some pretty overwhelming feelings when I was playing the Lilly arc (the first one I picked), but I was perfectly willing to try out all the other routes afterward.

Re: Shizune's path

The only reason Shizune learns is because Misha tells her. Hisao wants to be certain that he can do what he wants to do at his best before he does it (in regards to dealing with Shizune and a future life), so it makes sense that there isn't an immediate end, since none of the acts have any kind of ...

Re: LILLYS ENDING MAN

Everything can always be solved by making a mad dash t the airport. nuff said Agreed. Haven't any of you guys seen Love Actually? It's the best option. I've finished two other routes as of right now, and so far none of the endings have been as good as Lilly's. I am a little upset that it doesn't ha...

Re: Soundtrack Discussion?

They're all great tracks, but I think "Ease" is the one I like most right now. That synth-accordion is just a really nice touch of instrumentation.

Re: Imagined seiyuu cast for KS?

I'm far more comfortable with English VAs than seiyuu. But I do have to say that Hisao is totally Yuuichi Nakamura, because who else? Hisao: Hmm. Crispin Freeman (Kyon in Haruhi Suzumiya, Shizuo in Durarara), maybe? Kenji: Greg Ayres (Kensuke in Rebuild of Evangelion, Yamazaki in Welcome to the NHK,...

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously

Sorry... I forgot to insert the spoiler code before posting. Can a mod delete or modify my post above so the Lilly spoiler isn't spoiled? Thanks... it's called edit button in the post, but the title also says spoilers anyways. I thin it is a fair warning to those coming in the thread. They're not a...

Re: Shizune's path

Oh, but I have to disagree with you on Jigoro. Yes, he does have a point, but I think the reason people dislike him is the sheer arrogance and presumptuousness of this guy. He claims to know everything yet he hasn't even learned how to communicate with his own daughter properly? He immediately assum...

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously

It astonishes me how you can say they were "wildly out of character" when before just recently, you had literally ONLY ACT ONE to establish their character. It's been a few years since Act 1, and a lot of the fans have built up these stereotypes of what the characters are "supposed&qu...

Re: Shizune's path

Misha My God, Misha. You think being Misha is suffering now? Think about this for a second. Her sole comfort - her time alone with Shizune during student council work - is intruded upon by Hisao. But that's not even the worst part. The worst part is that, up until the point where Hisao starts commu...

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously

I really loved this arc and what it ultimately meant for the characters of Hisao and Hanako.

I do have one nitpick, though. All three of the endings just feel too... abrupt to me. Like they all need an extra scene or something.

Re: Anger

I don't really understand how anyone can get the Kenji ending without trying for it on purpose. You basically have to be a total jerk to everybody to get it. I mean, yeah, there are some times where you pick a choice that seems innocuous and then Hisao flips his shit over it (I'm thinking of the lat...
