Re: Favourite artworks - reprise.

Because what more do you need than Hanako hugging a Companion Cube? Hanako hugging a real friend rather than becoming unhealthily psychologically attached to an inanimate object that she will inevitably be forced to incinerate . If you must know. :P Cute sketch though. Someone didn't play...

Re: Why Hanako Must Be Wearing A Wig

I don't think she's bald, or wearing a wig, but I also don't think her hairline is still symmetrical on the burned side. But you'd also have to take artistic license into account. In reality, even if those specific areas didn't burn, the skin around her eyelid and side of her face would be pulled ta...

Sorry, I'm obligated to respond to posts like that either like that, or with a picture of a bald eagle crying.

I'm pretty sure that's somewhere in the constitution

Re: Ignorant things said by Internet know-it-alls

Feminism as a whole has been hijacked by radical men-haters in America, and sadly, has become the face many people associate with the movement. Seriously. Nearly every feminist outside the US hates how feminism is perceived now because of that very loud minority. It would be like judging all Christi...

It's extremely "slice-of-life," and captured the emotion beautifully :) I'll definitely be hitting him up for some more stuff in the future for the scene when Saki and Hisao made you look

Re: Learning To Fly - A Saki pseudo-route (Updated 6/18)

Artwork by the amazing Scott Bennett on DeviantArt.

This completely blew away all my expectations and I couldn't be happier with it. My jaw hit the floor when he sent me the preview yesterday and it hasn't left since. :)

Yay! The artwork I mentioned is done, and I should be able to post it in a day or two after one final detail gets worked out.

Same thing with the next chapter. Almost done with it, hope to have it out in the next few days if work doesn't kill me.

Re: Limits of Fanfiction - What is appropriate?

Regarding BEFFs: I do think they can be salvaged, but I'm in agreement with another poster that I don't think they can be done well if they were continuations instead of timeskips. The bad endings come about as a result of bad decisions made by character flaws on behalf of one or both parties (alth...

Re: Submitting of fan fiction: Episodic vs. whole releases

As a reader , initially I would have said that I prefer it to be posted in one chunk. I hate having to wait for new chapters :P As a writer (and now as a reader) I prefer episodic releases. Writers tend to fall in love with their own work and have a unique perspective of being unable to see the stor...

Re: Limits of Fanfiction - What is appropriate?

Nothing really to contribute to the suicide discussion, except that I think the fact there are so many interpretations on what happens in the bad ends (all of them plausible to some extent) is a testament to the strength of the storylines in KS. Regarding BEFFs: I do think they can be salvaged, but ...
